Steven Wimpfheimer
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our esteemed colleague, Steven Wimpfheimer.
A leader in the legal community, Steven was a past President of the Queens County Bar Association, a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, and actively involved with the New York State Bar Association. Beyond his legal contributions, he was deeply engaged in community service, holding leadership roles in numerous organizations.
Steven graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1966 and went on to serve as a Captain in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.
Over the course of his distinguished legal career, he held various roles, including Law Assistant and Confidential Law Clerk in Supreme Court, Queens County. He later founded his own firm, focusing on Tax Certiorari proceedings, and represented the Village of Great Neck Plaza for over four decades, handling residential and commercial tax appeals.
Steven became Of Counsel with our firm in 2021, and we were honored to have him as part of our team. His dedication, wisdom, and kindness will be profoundly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family during this difficult time. Please join us in extending our deepest condolences and support to his loved ones.
