Anthony Forzaglia

Anthony Forzaglia received his Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law in 2009 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and Marketing from Manhattan College in 2006. Prior to joining Schroder & Strom LLP, Anthony served as Senior Counsel in the Tax & Bankruptcy Litigation Division at the New York City Law Department for 6 years. There, Anthony focused his practice on tax certiorari litigation, including valuation and exemption issues involving different classes of properties. The Tax and Bankruptcy Litigation Division handled all challenges to New York City’s real property tax assessments before the courts of the five New York City boroughs.

Anthony’s prior legal experience also includes the New York City Building Department, where Anthony prosecuted building violations before the New York City Environmental Control Board, and prior to that, a small private firm in Yonkers, NY where Anthony focused on landlord/tenant litigation and real estate transactions.

Anthony was named a partner at Schroder & Strom, LLP in 2025. 

Anthony is admitted to practice law in New York and Connecticut and is a member of the New York City, Westchester County, Nassau County and Suffolk County Bar Associations.  He co-leads a Mentoring Circle Team as part of his participation in the Westchester County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Queens Chamber of Commerce where he serves on the Banking and Law Committee, the Nassau County Columbian Lawyer’s Association, and the Harrison Chamber of Commerce in Westchester County, where Anthony resides.
